Being significant means living an unselfish life that puts others ahead of yourself. Your resulting legacy will be defined by the number of lives you impact, instead of the size of your monthly commission check.

Building your business will not just be a financial journey but a personal one. You will build something that lasts beyond your lifetime.

Chapter 02

Network Marketing Industry

Network Marketing has been stable and prosperous for over 70 years. As of 2019, there were 119 million distributors, and it paid out more than $200 million in commissions and bonuses — each day of the year.

More importantly, it carves a path toward significance.

But it’s not easy. Many people have tried and failed in Network Marketing.

And that’s ok. Not everyone has a great experience right off the bat. Success in Network Marketing comes from dusting yourself off and learning from your mistakes.

Network Marketing is a business – not a hobby. You have to be a professional to succeed in this industry. To be a professional, you need the right attitude, develop good habits and sharpen your skills.

The Butterfly Effect

Changing the world starts with the belief that you can change the world. Throughout my career in Network Marketing, I’ve learned to focus on what I can control—having a positive attitude, an unstoppable drive, and a willingness to hustle brought me success. But it’s my commitment to others that have empowered them to become their very best.

Each testimony in this chapter comes from individuals who have been affected by my life’s work, my words and my leadership. Their comments say more about the writer than myself, but they confirm, to me, they will continue to empower others in the years to come.

These are just a few of hundreds whom I had the privilege of helping give flight to their dreams through Network Marketing. Several have taken that which they learned and applied it outside Network Marketing into other entrepreneurial ventures with great success.

Starting with no formal education beyond high school, but with persistence and determination, Harvey initiated and continued a process of unending self-education on the skills and discipline of leadership, entrepreneurship and harnessing human potential.
